Tracing the shadow of astrology and art

Daily Forecasts

April 25, 2019

Early this morning, 2:23am, the Moon in Capricorn strikes a sparkling sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This casts a gorgeous, inspired, artistic haze over the rest of the day, as the luminary of emotions seeks to find an outlet, or a method of translation, through the planet of intuition and inspiration (Neptune). This is a lovely day for poetry, music, writing of any kind, performance, and passionate connection.

At 7:33am the Moon meets up with Saturn and later connects to Pluto, both in Capricorn. With Pluto’s recent station retrograde, this conjunction serves to highlight the emotional implications of Pluto’s retrograde (which you can read about in my previous post!). Here our emotional state is serious, but wedded to responsibility, and important questions of power, balance, and self-mastery.

We can try to blend the Neptunian vibe that grants us grace, empathy, and sensitivity with the more serious, duty-bound aspect between Saturn and Pluto at this time. It’s like a call to find creative and sincere solutions to tough issues, serious conversations. We’re doing it together, my friends.
