Cristina Farella

Astrologer & Writer

E.  house8astro@gmail.com

Cristina has studied astrology for a Jupiter cycle. She opened her astrological consulting practice, Eighth House Astrology, in 2016. In her one-on-one sessions with clients, Cristina uses astrology as a tool to provide language for one’s innate gifts and talents, illuminating the contours of deep karmic struggles, and giving meaning to all of life’s many cycles.

We each have a unique astrological makeup. I picture yours as an aura embroidered with constellations hovering above your shoulders. No two are alike, like no two lives are alike.

Astrology is an ancient art, and our most original science. Long lost Babylonians observed the movements of planets in the heavens, noting confluence and connection between heavenly activity and life on earth. The Hermetic philosophers coined the phrase, As above, so below, as within, so without, a reflection of the interwoven energy of cosmos, nature, and humankind.

Cristina’s approach to astrology is holistic and compassionate. She relies on her deep knowledge of literature, myth, and art, as well as her astrological expertise and her intuition to guide clients through their astrological queries. She combines astrology with tarot and herbalism to provide a complete, supportive experience.

She writes a monthly lunation column at The House of Twigs, is the astrologer in residence at Queen Meb in Portland, OR, and is the poet in residence at ABXY Gallery in NYC. She is the contributing astrologer for the forthcoming Celestial Bodies Oracle, a divination and occult learning tool soon to be published by Serpentfire.
